The propagating path of electromagnetic wave through the atmosphere is affected by refraction, so the direction is changed, the path becomes a curve, the length is longer than the distance of beeline and the time is also protracted. Using a simplified spherically symmetrical model of atmosphere we calculated the corrections to delay of path curvature due to atmospheric refraction with different zenith distances.
