After a planetary system was discovered in Autumn 1995 around 51 Peg by Mayor and Queloz the era of extrasolar planets has begun. At present astronomers know more than 80 stars with planets. It is possible to start with statistical studies of this group of stars. We investigated the distributions of various parameters and chemical compositions of 50 planet-harboring stars. A great number of sources was inspected to collect and analyze the photometric properties (V, B-V, M_v), physical parameters (T_{eff}, lg{textsl g}, [Fe/H], V_{tur}, M, R, V_{rot}, age), kinematic characteristics, and element abundances.
