The radial velocities of nearby FGK stars are currently being monitored for the presence of exoplanets. We estimate the effective number of target stars being observed from the total number by removing those stars for which the current Doppler planet detection method would fail. Then by identifying trends in the exoplanet minimum mass and period distributions in a subsample of exoplanets less-biased by the selection effects of the Doppler detection method and extrapolating these trends into regions of parameter space that have not yet been completely sampled we find what fraction of stars have planets in various conservative and more speculative regions of logMsini(i) - logP space.
