Magnetized winds emerging from rapidly rotating stars and disks may self-collimate at large distances from their sources. Self-similar models of magnetized winds (Blandford and Payne 1982) reflect this property. However, the solutions to general problem of magnetized wind flow do not in general exhibit global self-similarity. However, we discuss the asymptotic approach to self-similarity of magnetized winds.
