The asymmetry parameter for the intensity peaks of the Hβ line, δI = (IB-IR)/IB, has been measured in a hydrogen-argon arc-plasma for electron concentrations Ne between 3×1022 and 1023m-3. The observed results agree with measurements by other authors on different plasma sources.
