A bar whose center is offset from that of the disk has important effects both on the morphology and on the kinematics of the galaxy. The gas response in such a galaxy is simulated with a bar displaced parallel, perpendicular or at 45 deg from the bar major axis. The effects of the displacements on the isopotentials, isodensities and isovelocity curves are discussed. The number and position of the Lagrangian points are found.
