The nature of astrosols (cosmic aerosols) is defined, and the possibility of experimental studies of the behavior and evolution of astrosols is considered. The analogy between astrosols and comet atmospheres and tails is discussed, and a description is given of a rocket experiment involving the production of an artificial astrosol cloud in space. Experimental results support the hypothesis that the astrosol component of comet tails could have a condensational origin.
