A proposal for an European Aircraft carrying a competititve infrared
submillimeter telescope on board is presented. The need for an
Astroplane is pointed out. A Challenger 601 Aircraft as carrier for a
120 cm telescope is proposed. New concepts for a light weight updated
airborne astrolaboratory are presented.
