The widespread of the Internet in our country opened up new possibilities for the local astronomy. Data concerning research from abroad became widely available to all Internet users. It would seem however, that the net has not yet been exploited to its full potential. Many of the web sites shut down and most have not been updated for a long period of time. In this respect, the Astronomy Magazine remains an exception.
