Specific topics discussed include infrared observations of cometary dust and ice, classification of mid-infrared spectra, far infrared spectroscopy of solid-state features, and infrared spectroscopy of astrophysical molecules. Papers are also presented on the near-IR imaging spectroscopy of the hot gas in the center of the Galaxy, stellar population in starburst galaxies, a mid-infrared echelle spectrograph, and spectroscopy with ISO.
