The Odessa Observatory has one of the largest collections of wide-field plates: a total of over 80,000 plates has been accumulated during the years 1952 to 1996. A description of the present status and the future of this collection is presented. The observatory has also a big collection of photometric, spectrophotometric, and spectral observations. The problems of archiving these data are discussed. (Abstract only).
