In astrometry of a globular cluster, relative proper motions of stars in region of the cluster are determined and absolute proper motion of the cluster can be derived from relative motions by an appropriate process, or determined directly. The results, progress, and open questions in respects of the determination of relative proper motions, the estimation of membership probabilities, the detection of internal motions, the determination of absolute proper motions, and the investigation of space motions of the globular clusters since the middle of 1970's are reviewed.
