The motion of real and fictitious asteroids at some commen- surabilities with Jupiter are investigated by using a mapping technique. In order to study the possible kinds of motion for asteroids in jovian resonances,we propose a planar elliptical restricted four-body problem, with Jupiter and Saturn as per- turbators. We solve the motion equations by numerical methods and we analyze the dynamical behaviours of the objets with a two-dimensional diagram. In order to build this diagram, we define a phase angle between the position of Jupiter and the initial perihelion of the asteroid when the latter passes through its instantaneous perihelion. We applie this technique to asteroids in first and second order commensurabilities with Jupiter. Our results are compared to results obtained by other techniques.
