A simple scheme is introduced for representing, in a computer readable form, the determining function of the canonical transformation needed to compute the asteroid long-periodic perturbations. The theory and the procedures involved in this computation are described in detail. The literal development of the determining function is coded by means of a `generic term' technique, and the resulting lists of integers are compressed in a single flat file. Examples of the lists are given and some important applications are explained.
