It is shown that the Taurid system of small interplanetary bodies in
low-inclination, short period, high-eccentricity orbits contains in
addition a Jupiter-crossing Apollo asteroid (5025 P-L) and a long-period
comet (1967 II Rudnicki), the existence of which may give important
clues to the origin and evolution of the overall complex.
