A total of 300 faint blue objects are selected from the catalogs of Berger and Fringant (1977, 1980, and 1983) on the basis of two-point autocorrelations and separation of less than 100 arcsec, and observations of eight pairs separated by 8 arcsec or less (and one pair at 36 arcsec), obtained mainly with the 3.6-m Canadian-French-Hawaiian Telescope, are briefly characterized. The eight close pairs are found to include two possible star pairs, on single barred spiral galaxy, one jet galaxy, one pair of interacting galaxies, and three possible gravitational mirages.
