A Fabry-Peror tilting spectrometer was mounted at the servo-controlled coude focal plane of the 30 cm Meudon telescope and used to measure the infrared forbidden fine structure line intensities in the interstellar medium as part of the ASSESS 2 program. The scientific objectives, instrumentation, and data handling methods are described. Payload integration phases are discussed and system performance during the flight is evaluated. Suggestions for improvement are included.
