A simulation of the accretion of a string loop has been performed, demonstrating that the spherical assumption of string accretion is not always valid. In particular, it is shown that aspherical accretion is essential for large-scale loops. From the loop accretion, it is found that one can form almost all kinds of configurations (such as filaments, pancakes, bubbles, and voids) found in the distributions of galaxies. The model predicts more or less filamentary structure surrounding sheets or embedded in bubbles, in agreement with observations.
