We consider the applications of quasi-Riemannian geometry in
Kaluza-Klein theories. We find that such theories cannot be implemented
for all choices of the tangent group GT and internal space
G/H for reasons of gauge invariance. Coupling of fermions to gravity
poses further problems in these theories.
