We have obtained ASCA (SIS and GIS) X-ray spectra of the cooling flow
cluster Abell 85. Using the limited spatial resolution of ASCA, we have
obtained SIS spectra within the cooling region and outside the cooling
radius. We find that multiple temperature components are required within
the cooling region, and discuss evidence for excess absorption.
