Calculations are presented of the additional ionization and artificial glow produced by accelerated electrons formed due to the effect of high-power radio waves on the upper ionosphere. Airglow in the 6300, 5577, 8446, 7774, and 3914 A spectral lines was considered. It is shown that, under such conditions, there must occur an intensification not only of the observed red and green lines of oxygen but also an intensification of other lines of atomic oxygen and molecular nitrogen with higher excitation potentials.
