Scientific paper

Ar-37 and Ar-39 radioactivities have been studied in bulk samples and in metal-rich and metal-poor fractions of two meteorites which fell during solar minimum. The Ar-37 values for the two chondrites are confined to a narrow range, while chondrites that fell during solar maximum show a wide range of Ar-37 values. The near constancy of Ar-39 activities in chondrites is also considered.
