Gamma-ray and radio observations offer complementary approaches to astrophysics, because both can involve interactions of high-energy particles, thus probing the nonthermal Universe. With the upcoming launch of the Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST) and the availability of other high-sensitivity gamma-ray telescopes, opportunities for cooperation with the radio community will often involve a need for the largest, most sensitive radio telescope: Arecibo. Some research areas of common interest include: diffuse Galactic emission, pulsars, radio galaxies, blazars, microquasars, and gamma-ray bursts. The many unidentified gamma-ray sources left from the Compton Observatory era, plus the large number expected with GLAST, represent an area with tremendous discovery potential, requiring the deepest radio followup.
