Two-particle and multi-particle correlation measurements have been predicted to serve as an important probe for the high energy density nuclear matter expected in Au + Au collisions at RHIC [1,2,3]. In recent experiments, the PHENIX collaboration has made such measurements for a wide range of transverse momentum and impact parameter selections. Selected results from these measurements will be presented, and I will discuss whether or not they are compatible with possible quark gluon plasma formation in RHIC collisions.
