The origin of cosmic rays is an important topic in high energy astrophysics. The authors suggest a new possible mechanism that the relativistic electrons may be directly produced by the "squeezing" under the high pressure inside a compact star during the collapse process. They hope the proposed mechanism can be used to explain the origin of the tremendous primary cosmic-ray electrons which are produced in the very early stage of a supernova explosion.
