Interstellar abundances and depletions of Fe, P, Mg, and Mn have been analyzed toward 37 stars, spanning nearly 1.0 (dex) in mean line-of-sight depletion. Clues to processes that may alter diffuse interstellar depletions far from the influence of a star are sought. The present study, thus, only uses sightlines toward stars with luminosity class III - V and exclude stars with emission lines or spectral peculiarities. The depletions of these elements are linearly correlated and do not show evidence of differences in the rates of depletion or sputtering from one element to another. The results of this study probably indicate that for most diffuse lines of sight, the relative abundances of these elements are set early in the lifetime of the grains and are not altered significantly thereafter, even though substantial grain processing is likely to occur. These result also place strong constraints on the number of individual grains that are completely disrupted after the passage of a typical shock.
