We report archival Chandra observations of the new radio transient in M82 discovered by Muxlow et al. (ATel #2073). In their discovery, they claimed that there is a weak Chandra X-ray source within 0.5 arcsec of the radio transient and hence it may be associated with the radio transient. We re-examined an astrometry corrected (by matching with the 2MASS catalog) Chandra image (Kong et al. 2007, ApJ, 671, 349) and found that the X-ray source is > 1 arcsec from the radio position.
