The continuum emission from the H II regions Sgr B2 and G34.3+0.2 is mapped at 6 and 2 cm with a resolution exceeding 1 arcsec. Sgr B2 is found to have three centers of emission containing twelve individual compact H II regions. It is believed that these optically thick and dense (electron density greater than 10 to the 5th per cu cm) H II regions may be the ionized shells surrounding newly formed O4 and O7 stars. A newly formed star cluster is the central region in Sgr B2. The H2O maser emission and the most compact, optically thick continuum emission are not coincident but are within 10 to the 17th cm of each other. It is thought probable that the intense H2O masers are in regions of extreme turbulence and high density near the outflows of material around newly formed stars.
