The eclipsing binary AR Aur is a good example of combined work by professionel and amateur astronomers. The variability was first discovered by Danish amateurs. Later, Danish professionels observed light-curves and determined radii and masses. The existence of a third component is known from the period variability, and now Danish amateurs observe times of minimum in order to determine an improved value of the orbit and mass of the third star. The authors give a new time of minimum, and discuss the possibility of observing the third star in infrared light.
