As part of a monitoring program of eclipsing binary stars with eccentric orbits and anomalous apsidal motion, we present new photometric V, R, I observations of the system AS Camelopardalis. The observations were made using a CCD detector with 2024×2024 chip attached to the 0.9 m telescope of the Southeastern Association for Research in Astronomy (SARA), located at Kitt Peak National Observatory, Arizona. The observations were reduced using the Image Reduction and Analysis Facility (IRAF) astronomical data reduction package. We determine one new primary minimum, thus extending the time-base of available times of minimum. We obtain a rate of apsidal motion which we find to agree with previous estimates. A discrepancy between the observed and theoretically expected apsidal motion rate remains unresolved.
