Weak lensing tomography is an exciting new tool that can be used to measure cosmological model parameters without having to measure absolute distances or without having to understand the physics of objects at high z. Despite being projected as one of the best methods to measure the evolution of dark energy, tomography has never been used on real data to place constraints on dark energy due mostly to the stringent requirements of good seeing for weak lensing shear measurements and deep photometry over the entire optical and near-IR spectral range for good photometric redshifts. One data set which can almost provide a tomographic measurement is that of the ESO Distant Cluster Survey (EDisCS), but it is missing the deep B band images necessary to obtain good photometric redshifts. Here we propose to obtain the B band imaging on the CTIO Blanco telescope to allow us to perform the tomographic measurements. This will be the first time tomography will have been applied to real data and will set the stage for much larger studies to follow
