The successful application of the operational amplifiers to the photoelectric scanning micrometers is discussed. The gain accuracy related to the measurement accuracy as well as the effects of detuning and drafting are analyzed, so as to provide the basis for the reasonable choice of the operational amplifiers. Besides, the method of eliminating the interference from surrounding are introduced.
