In this work, we employ MCMC methods within a Bayesian framework to further our understanding of hydrostatic model comparison with the observed temperature and density structure along solar coronal loops. We review current approaches to assessing coronal loop heating processes, present our procedure using the MH algorithm and describe how this can be used for model adequacy and comparison purposes with respect heating function in these loops.
