The present study examines the three-body problem by directly integrating the equations of motion in the orbital elements. The problem was set up in a barycentric chain with the orbits as perturbed ellipses, and the integration was performed using the semianalytic stroboscopic method. Perturbation theory is applied and the solution for a particular order is obtained by way of successive approximations on the fundamental period of the fast variable.
