We present the results of the first application of the method of spatial filtration for identification of the dominant non-radial mode in A3V primary pulsating component of the semi-detached Algol system RZ Cas. The method is based on the comparison of modelled variations of the pulsation amplitude and phase, during eclipse of the oscillating component, with the observed ones. The direct application of the method of spatial filtration to the system RZ Cas revealed that the hidden multiperiodicity and the accretion gas-stream effects need to be taken into account. The tentative identification provides the most likely approximation by the sectorial NRP mode l=2, |m|=2, what is in good agreement with theoretical predictions for pulsations in binary systems.
