Fiducial Network, No Fiducial Approach, Constraint
Scientific paper
In analysis of SLR (Satellite Laser Ranging) data, a terrestrial reference frame is required. This is a test with no fiducial approach to obtain the estimates of polar motion and site coordinates based on SLR data from Jan. to Dec. of 1999. No fiducial approach in SLR is not same as in GPS (Global Positioning System). The some constraints is added to no fiducial approach of SLR in the test. The results are transformed into ITRF97 with the seven-parameter. The transformed coordinates are quite consistent with those of ITRF97 and the rms is 1.3cm. The polar motion is also consistent with that of the EOP(Earth Orientation Parameters) (IERS) and the rms of xp, yp and LOD are 0.37 mas, 0.30 mas and 0.019 ms respectively. The test is successful.
