In the present paper, the relationship among phenomena accompanying a solar flare is examined on the basis of Dodson, Hedeman, and Kreplin's (1975) Catalog of Solar Particle Events. An attempt is made to determine the dynamics of the generation of high-energy particles from data on the radio emission from Type II bursts that characterizes the generation of a shock wave and its passage through the corona into space.
