We present time-series photometry in BVRI of several spotted G-K stars in the Alpha Persei open cluster. Such stars are known to have anomalous colors, particularly but not exclusively in B-V, which need to be accounted for in the determination of cluster distances from main-sequence fitting. We describe a method for correcting the anomalous colors once vsini or the rotation period is known, and provide a new measurement of the distance and age of Alpha Persei.
