Equations of ideal relativistic anisotropic magnetohydrodynamics are obtained from a strictly hydrodynamic standpoint using a magnetic analog of the Lorenz force, and constrictions in a plasma pinch with a longitudinal magnetic field and current are considered. The spectrum of particles displaced from the constrictions is determined and found to be close to the spectrum of galactic cosmic rays. This gives rise to the hypothesis that cosmic gamma bursts observed daily from satellites are a direct indication of the presence of ruptured pinches in space which provide for the energetics of the galactic cosmic rays.
