The exciting discovery of molecular anions in the interstellar medium has stimulated experimental, theoretical, and modeling efforts to understand their chemistry. Our laboratory has explored the ion-neutral reactions of a wide variety of anions with atomic and molecular reactants using the flowing afterglow-selected ion flow tube instrument. An overview of these results will be presented, as well as our plans and goals for future studies.
