Accurate effective collision strengths have recently been calculated in LS coupling for electron excitation of singly ionized atomic oxygen using an eleven-state R-matrix approximation. These data are fitted to interpolation formulae which are valid for the range of temperatures 5000 to 1,000,000 kelvins. Interpolated values may readily be obtained using a Numerical Algorithm Group (NAG) library routine or by an easily coded algorithm.
