A mathematically simple but nontrivial solution is obtained for the magnetohydrodynamic equilibrium of a thin, force-free current layer in a solar magnetic arcade. It is assumed that the current is weak and that the arcade is anchored in an immobile medium such that all the magnetic flux emerges from and reenters two narrow strips on the surface of this medium. The Alfvénic normal mode spectrum for this equilibrium is also obtained.
