In this paper, the results of analyzing two M-class flares, regarding the relative motion of conjugate kernels and HXR looptop sources are briefly reported. It is found that each flare has two obvious conjugate kernels and a hard X-ray (HXR) source. Using the center-of-mass method to background-subtracted Hα images, the relative motion of the conjugate kernels is analyzed. Our results further demonstrate that, in addition to conventional separation motion of flare ribbons and corresponding upward motion of HXR coronal sources, there exists an opposite motion pattern. That is, during the impulsive phases of the two flares, the two conjugate kernels have a converging motion and the looptop sources have a descending motion. Our results propose a need for new kind magnetic reconnection model for solar flares.
