The author presents a fine analysis of three K-type dwarf stars, HD
10476, HD 17925, and HD 37394 having reliable trigonometric parallaxes
in the Gliese catalogue. This analysis is part of a program to search
for a correlation between the helium and metal content evolution of the
Galaxy using late-type non-evolved dwarf and subdwarf stars.
