The results of test-case TC3 involving flow field and radiation computations were analyzed subsequently to the workshop on "Radiation of High Temperature Gas in Planetary Atmosphere Entry". Although not all contributors performed the mandatory case, useful lessons were derived. This test-case was demonstrated to be a good candidate to address the problems associated to Mars atmosphere entries. Lessons learned contribute to the definition of a reference test-case that will be the mandatory case of future versions of this workshop.
