Space Probes, Titan Atmosphere: Entry
Scientific paper
The paper presents deals assessments around the Huygens probe during the entry into Titan atmosphere. Flow-field computations have been performed in order to consider updated predictions of Titan atmosphere and focus on heat fluxes. Species molar fractions and flow-field parameters have been computed with different codes. Flow-field emission has been deducted and integrated to assess the possibility of the observation of the Huygens probe entry in Titan atmosphere. Effects of different atmospheric profiles as well as gravity waves have been studied.
