Geological and morphological analysis demonstrates that rock outcrops
with thin horizontal bedding occur at the Venera 13 and Venera 14
landing sites. These rocks have much the same distinctive morphology as
those at the Venera 9 and Venera 10 sites, and are most likely of
sedimentary origin - tuff, in particular.
