We analyse the 128 fast events observed and recorded over the two-year period 1981 May - 1983 June. We find these events to have a variety of fine structures, including isolated spikes, dense clusters of spikes, small flux spikes superposed on noise background and absorption features. We give a simple description of three typical fast events.
