We present a microvariability curve of ON 231 and analyze it in terms of a model based on synchrotron pulses. The model assumes that a shock propagates down the jet and enters a turbulent region where individual turbulent cells are responsible for individual synchrotron pulses that we observe as microvariabilty. This particular ON 231 light curve clearly shows individual pulses that can be de-convolved and fit with model pulses. We hope to be able to estimate individual turbulent cell characteristcs by this deconvolution and model fitting technique.
