It is shown that the model of electron-sound phenomena that connects their appearance with the generation of intense electromagnetic radiation in the wake of a bolide is contradicted by observational data. In particular, this model requires the presence of a large magnitude of electric current in the bolide wake, which is not actually observed. In addition, the mechanism that connects the bolide-charge induction of an intense electric field around the earth with subsequent generation of acoustic oscillations in the case of charge flow from its surface requires an impossibly large charge on the bolide.
